Springtime Yard : Here is our yard in the spring. It is one of the last houses on the block to have rhododendrons bloom. I guess that's ok, it means we get to enjoy them longer? All the rhododendrons are in the front yard. I tried to get pictures of Dakota next to our huge ferns out back, it was somewhat successful. I at least got him to sit and stay while I got some cute close ups!

Arizona Trip : These are pictures from our trip to Arizona. We started out in the Grand Canyon and finished the rest of the week off in Tucson. The Grand Canyon was an absolutely beautiful place. It was so large it was almost unreal, like I was just staring at a movie screen or something. The colors were increadible. Tucson was also beautiful. I never knew the desert could look this way. There were little blooms of flowers all over the place. This was a place I would love to visit again.

Kim's Painting : This fall I took a painting class at Bellevue Community College. We focused on oil painting, which I enjoy working with. The professor was great because she didn't tell us how to paint, but if we needed extra help or advice she gladly turned it into a lesson for everyone. It helped me not feel so scared about painting, that it is ok to make a mistake, that's how you learn.

Cannon Beach, OR : Over the weekend of Nov. 6-9 we headed to Cannon Beach, OR for the Stormy Weather Arts Festival. The weather there was stormy, not a big shocker, but it was so amazing to watch all the crazy waves from our room. We saw a lot of great artists and had a wonderful dinner at the inn.

House Photos : In the year that we have lived in the house we have made a lot of improvements. We had the original windows replaced and added french doors to the dinning room and master bedroom. We got the outside of the house painted along with most of the upper floor. Our front door was very flimsy so we had it replaced with a beautiful new one. We have now put up the new pictures of the changes we have made to the house. Enjoy!

Wedding and Engagement Pictures : Allen and I were married on July 8, 2007 at the Salish Lodge. We had a BBQ reception, no not a pig on a spit or anything. We ate cedar plank salmon, BBQ chicken, and BBQ hot links. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun sharing this day with our friends and family.
